This huge abandoned cinema is located on the territory of the functioning sanatorium “Northern Riviera” in Zelenogorsk, Russia. In summer, vacationers sunbathe on the beach, swim in the Gulf of Finland and play volleyball, and literally a couple of minutes walk from all this resort idyll, a Soviet concrete hulk is living out its age in the forest.
The building was built in 1974-1976 in the style of socialist modernism with an amazing staircase, an openwork ceiling and panoramic windows. The cinema was closed in 2007. 4 years later, it was bought by Helios Hotel and used as a paintball court until 2016. And in the premises on the ground floor there were stables for several horses, which were rented out.

For a long time, this ruin was vigilantly guarded without five minutes. But now everything has finally fallen into disrepair, except for the miraculously preserved auditorium.
However, even in this form, all these architectural elements of Soviet brutalism are still impressive. The place can be an excellent location for a thematic photo shoot or, for example, flying on an FPV drone.
