Abandoned Candy Factory in Kaliningrad

It has been years since that Candy Factory in Kaliningrad produced any sweets, instead sitting abandoned and rotting, moving farther and farther from its sugary beginnings.

In its heyday, the Kaliningrad Candy Factory employed more than 100 people and was also a popular, if gory, tourist destination with daily guided tours of the processing lines. Times changed , and Kaliningrad Candy Factory is abandoned. The Kaliningrad Candy Factory closed after the collapse of the USSR and was “donated” to the city of, which was clearly not thrilled with the property since it has been left abandoned and rotting since then.
