Adularia is an abandoned ghost town 70 kilometers from Moscow. Previously, it was a military town # 310 of military unit 51850. The military unit was the starting positions of the S-25 “Berkut” air defense missile system of the second Moscow air defense ring. The callsign of the unit is Adularia, hence the name of the city. The word itself denotes a semi-precious rare mineral, moonstone.
According to information on the Internet, the last resident left the Aduar town in 2005, but by this time the city was already in a deplorable state. Actually, this is not strange, because the raids of marauders began far before the departure of the last resident, they cut down, twisted, removed everything that had at least some value, and sold for a pittance.

At the moment, in an absolutely abandoned town, there are many administrative and residential two-story buildings, two three-entrance five-story buildings, a guardhouse, a store and other auxiliary structures.
From Moscow, drive along Volokolamskoe highway, before reaching Volokolamsk 25 kilometers, turn right to the village of Fedorovka. After a kilometer and a half, the road will turn to the right, the starting positions of the C-25 will be on the left. Another kilometer will be a village, you have to go straight ahead. Ahead will be the checkpoint of the town of Adular.
