Someone calls this place a museum, but in reality, now it looks like a dump. Only this dump consists of airplanes and helicopters, which turned out to be of no use to anyone, and some of which are probably very rare specimens. Inside the helicopters, there are mountains of empty bottles, cigarette butts, and other garbage, which, apparently, are being stored there by the guard.
The sight is terrible. Sometimes you see somewhere a military plane on a pedestal, and you think wow, what technologies, what materials, How many tests were there and imbued with respect for the developers, engineers, testers! And here, in a rusting helicopter, a bastard guard is thumping, who earns no less than a gimmick a day by opening and closing a gate in the fence, and does not even watch how all sorts of idiots break glass and tear off their instruments as a keepsake.
Initially, of course, there was an airfield at this place. It was built in the 30x40s – the so-called “kilometer road”. The runway is now of course not being used for its intended purpose, of course, because this place is located 5 km from the city center! Now there is a training ground for driving a car, and judging by the squeals of rubber, they teach extreme driving there.
I read in the internet that there are rumors that the Central House of Aviation, which is also located nearby, is going to buy this territory for a museum. And I would really like to believe that. Maybe then, after some cosmetic repairs, this technique will make its due impression.
