Russian waters have become a dumping ground for shipwrecks and the people living on the coastline say the unserviceable vessels abandoned by local shipping companies. Abandoned motor ships and transportation boats also float freely or lay submerged on parts of the coastline. The remains of the abandoned vessels cause environmental damage.
The same happened with this abandoned motor ship named “UFA” in Russian waters in the Volga river waters. The owners of the unserviceable motor ships are believed to find it more convenient to dump them in the Volga river waters rather than properly dispose of them off.
