An automobile graveyard on the outskirts of the Siberian village is a location where old Soviet buses, trucks, and agricultural machinery are kept until they have decayed. This is a particularly noteworthy example of Russian economic decline.
We’ve got quite a few pictures of abandoned pieces of Soviet buses and trucks. Some of them have actually stood the test of time quite well and some are indeed falling apart. But more than anything, the photographs speak to us … they tell of a simpler time and a time long forgotten.
