After five hours driving from Moscow, we found ourselves in an ordinary provincial town, in the middle of which there was an abanoned Soviet Christmas Ornaments Factory. Factory have been abandoned since the late 1990s. The administrative building was leased. Inside there was a furniture store, on the second floor there was an abandoned Soviet laboratory.
It was not difficult to get inside old Soviet Christmas Ornaments Factory. The building has not been guarded for a long time, so local youth destroyed the furniture and broke the windows inside all buildings.
Old packages of Christmas tree decorations and New Year’s gifts were scattered on the windowsills. Factory also produced garlands.
The workshop and the administrative building of the plant were filled with old light boxes of bulbs. Probably those lamps were suitable to use as Christmas decorations and same times car AvtoVAZ family car lights.
Empty workshops, plundered machines and tons of useless finished Christmas Ornaments looked like a bad joke, but all thiose was seriously abandoned and nobody needed it.
In one of the rooms, we found Soviet Christmas tree decorations: multi-colored cones, fish and soldiers, whole boxes with them! Toys, of course, need to be saved without hesitation. By the way, among them there were also parts from garlands.
In one of the rooms I came across strange cylinders with locks. Most likely, these were stoves or something like that for inflating glass and transforming it into a finished product.
Walking around the entire factory and taking with us a box of beautiful toys, we moved through the empty and abandoned workshops towards the exit. Unfortunately, we did not manage to find anything else interesting here, since in twenty years the Soviet Christmas Ornaments Factory was simply plundered.
